Audition Date: Sunday, February 8, 2026

Application Deadline: Monday, January 19, 2026

Proficiency in timpani, mallet and drum set required.

Audition Excerpts Packet will be provided after resume is received

Compensation is based on a per-service scale:

$157.09, plus AFM pension

A limited number of highly qualified applicants will be invited to the auditions. Applicants may be asked to provide a prescreen recording to attend the live auditions.

Applicants that are chosen to audition will be notified no later than January 23, 2026.

Auditions will be held at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne University,

Auditions are by invitation only and River City Brass reserves the right to dismiss any candidate who does not meet the highest professional standards.
